How to use
- Load your photo, then open the Adjust section and move the sliders. Brightness, contrast and saturation preview live on the image.
- Click Apply Adjustments to commit the changes. Use Reset All to put the sliders back to zero before applying.
- For a focus effect, open Blur Effect, click the image to place the sharp spot and set the blur amount and focus size, then download.
The Adjust section has six sliders. Brightness, Contrast and Saturation run from -100 to +100. Temperature and Tint run from -50 to +50, moving from cool to warm and from green to magenta. Sharpness runs from 0 to 100 and applies an unsharp mask. While the Adjust section is open, brightness, contrast and saturation are previewed on the picture, and a note reminds you that the change is not final until you click Apply. After Apply, the sliders return to zero so you can make another round of changes from the new result.
Applied adjustments go into a history, so the undo and redo buttons in the top bar let you step back. Images larger than 4000 pixels on the longest side are scaled down when adjustments are applied.
The Blur Effect section works differently. It keeps a round area around a focus point sharp and blurs the rest, with a soft transition between the two. You click anywhere on the preview to move the focus point. Blur amount ranges from 0 to 20 px, focus size from 10% to 100%, which sets the radius of the sharp area as a share of the longest side of the image. The preview updates as you change them. The blurred picture is saved as a JPEG named blurred-image.jpg.
Both sections run in your browser. Pixel changes are calculated on a canvas, and your photo is not uploaded.
FAQ
What does the Tint slider do?
It shifts color along the green to magenta axis. Negative values add green and positive values add magenta. Temperature works on the cool to warm axis.
Why do the sliders go back to zero after I click Apply?
The adjustment is baked into the image, so the sliders reset. You can then adjust the new result further, or use undo to go back.
How does the blur effect decide what stays sharp?
It does not detect subjects. It keeps a circular area around the point you click sharp and blurs the rest, so you place the point yourself.
Can I undo an adjustment?
Yes. Each applied adjustment is a step in the history that undo and redo move through.
Is my photo sent to a server?
No. Adjustments and blur are processed in your browser.
