How to use
- Load an image. It is processed at up to 1000 pixels wide.
- Click Activate Brush. Hold Alt and click to choose a source area, then drag over the area you want to heal.
- Set the brush size with the slider, use undo if needed, then click Download.
This tool is not a noise or pattern generator. It is a healing brush based on frequency separation. When the image loads it is split into detail layers using blurs of increasing strength. The brush copies only the fine and medium detail layers from your source spot to the place you paint, and leaves the smooth base layer alone. The practical effect is that skin texture, fabric or grain from one spot replaces blemishes in another while the color and shading underneath stay put.
To use the brush, activate it, hold Alt and click the area you want to sample from, then press and drag over the spot to fix. The brush size ranges from 5 to 100 pixels and the edge is feathered. A little random offset is added to the source position on each stroke, which helps avoid obvious repetition.
The history keeps up to 10 steps, with undo, redo and reset buttons. The result is downloaded as processed_image.png.
Images wider than 1000 pixels are scaled down on load, so the output is at most 1000 pixels wide. Processing happens on a canvas in your browser, and the image is not uploaded.
FAQ
How do I pick the source area?
Activate the brush, hold Alt and click on the area whose texture you want to copy. Then drag over the target area.
Does the brush change color?
No. It copies only the detail layers and leaves the low-frequency base, which carries the overall color and shading.
How many undo steps are there?
Up to 10 steps of history are kept.
Why is the output smaller than my original?
The image is scaled so it is at most 1000 pixels wide when loaded, and the download uses that size.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Everything is done in your browser.
